It’s been one year since Kehlani released her sophomore album, It Was Good Until It Wasn’t, during the pandemic.

For the first time, the West Coast singer will perform her album during a livestream show put together by NoCapShows.com and her independent company, Hypy Productions. The event begins tonight at 8 p.m. EST and is expected to be broadcasted in the U.S., Asia, Australia, Europe and Africa.

Kehlani has been training for this performance for months with celebrity director Gabe Phoenix. On Instagram, Kehlani said It Was Good Until It Wasn’t was released during a “crazy” time in her life.

“Happy 1 year anniversary baby! Forever a crazy moment in time,” she wrote in the caption. Came out when the odds were against us and did its [freaking] thing. It Was Good Until It Wasn’t, forever.”

Kehlani hit a monumental moment in her career last May after, It Was Good Until It Wasn’t, hit #1 on Billboard’s Top R&B Albums chart three weeks after its release. Her previous albums to top the chart include 2019’s While We Wait and 2017’s SweetSexySavage.
