Rap Radar says some fans of Jeezy may be shocked to learn that his original stage name was inspired by Lil Wayne and the Hot Boyz.

On Thursday, August 3, the Rap Radar Podcast dropped its newest episode featuring the Trap or Die rapper. During their discussion, hosts Brian “B. Dot” Miller and Elliott Wilson ask Jeezy how the Young Money founder helped inspire his classic moniker. He explained that Weezy F. Baby and the other members of the Hot Boyz initally gave him the idea for the name “Young Jeezy.”
