After August Alsina dropped the bomb that he had a Will Smith-approved affair with Jada Pinkett Smith, the actress has issued a denial.

According to multiple outlets, including TMZ, a rep for the Red Table Talk host shut down the claims almost as soon as they were brought to light, stating that the accusations were “absolutely not true!!!”

News of the alleged affair between August and Jada made headlines after the singer’s interview with The Breakfast Club’s Angela Yee was released on YouTube on Tuesday. The interview, which was supposed to help promote his new album The Product III: stateofEMERGEncy, documentary, and more quickly took a turn when he was asked to address his track “Nunya” and rumors of an affair with the 48-year-old mother of two.

“I actually sat down with Will and had a conversation due to the transformation from their marriage to life partnership that they’ve spoken on several times and it not involving romanticism,” the 27-year-old singer alleged.

“He gave me his blessing and I totally gave myself to that relationship for years of my life and I truly and really, really deeply loved and have a ton of love for her,” he continued. “I devoted myself to it. I gave my full self to it so much so to the point that I can die right now and be ok with knowing that I truly gave myself to somebody.”
