Dr. Sampson Davis is an ER physician in Newark, New Jersey. When he isn’t fighting COVID-19, he, like countless others, is dealing with another pandemic—systemic racism. Davis, who is Black, described recently being pulled over by police to Inside Edition Digital. “Luckily I had my uniform on and showed I was a physician and he let me move on.” Inside Edition Digital’s Stephanie Officer was there as Davis and Licensed Master Social Worker Rondell Johnson discussed healthy coping mechanisms.
