Halfway into June’s Black Music Month celebration, here’s a roundup of new summer anthems and bedroom jams to take you into the weekend.

Wale linked up with Chris Brown on his new single, “Angles.” The D.C. native goes back and forth on the summer bop, using his memorable metaphors to contemplate his feelings.

“Generous when I got, feelings for who I got / Feelings for when I’m not, feeling you, girl, I’m not /Dealing whatever feelings, I feel that you fear a lot / ‘Cause I be in my feelings, I’m givin’ you what I’ve got,” Wale raps.

Famed producers OG Parker and Hitmaka are the masterminds behind “Angles,” which samples the hip-hop classic “I Need a Girl Part 1” from Diddy, Loon, and Usher

Meanwhile, the self-proclaimed King of R&B Jacquees tapped Queen Naija for his new bedroom jam, “Bed Friend,” where the two exchange harmonies about becoming friends with benefits.

Don Toliver connected with pop songstress Kali Uchis for his new single, “Drugs N Hella Melodies.” The visual finds both artists cuddling in a bathtub, parlaying near a fantastical mountain, and diving to the bottom of the ocean.

Toliver can also be heard on F9: The Fast Saga, the soundtrack to F9, the latest installment of the Fast and Furious movie franchise. The project also features Latto, Polo G, NLE Choppa, Rico Nasty, Offset, Trippie Redd, Kevin Gates, Lil Durk and more, including verses from late rappers Pop Smoke and King Von.
