H.E.R., Kelly Rowland and Anderson .Paak are among the stars who have been added to the YouTube Originals Black History Month celebration titled Black Renaissance.
The special will also feature appearance by former President Obama, Michelle Obama, Stacey Abrams and many more, according to Deadline. Abrams was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize for her work promoting voting rights in the 2020 election.
“Come with us on a journey through Black culture and creative expression, past and present,” the narrator states in the trailer. “From every revolution comes renaissance.”
Black Renaissance, which was created in partnership with the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and the Howard University Graduate Film Program, will premiere February 26 on YouTube Originals.
