Giveon to perform on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ this week

Courtesy of GiveonA week after landing his first-career #1, R&B vocalist Giveon is set to perform on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Thursday.

Giveon has been on a high since landing his first Billboard Hot 100 chart-topper after appearing on Justin Bieber‘s track, “Peaches” featuring Daniel Caesar. The song also claimed the #2 spot on Rolling Stone‘s Top 100 Songs chart last week as well.

In the past three years, Giveon has worked with some of the biggest names in the music industry including Drake and landed a Grammy for his debut EP, Take Time, which was released last March. Featuring his singles, “Like I Want You” and “Heartbreak Anniversary,” the album expands upon Giveon’s thoughts on heartbreak, relationships, situation-ships and everything in between. He followed it up with his October EP, When It’s All Said and Done.

For his third release, Giveon combined both EP’s into When It’s All Said and Done…Take Time, which reached #5 on the all-genre Billboard 200 albums chart. It also debuted at #3 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and at #2 on the Top R&B Albums list.

Catch Giveon on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Thursday airing at 4 p.m. ET on NBC.
