Reshad Monquez Jones, a former all-pro safety for the Miami Dolphins, is facing weapons charges in South Florida.
Davie Police arrested Jones, 32, on a charge of carrying a concealed weapon on Wednesday.
Jail records show Jones is being held on a $1,000 bond.
The Dolphins drafted Jones out of Georgia in the fifth round of the 2010 NFL draft. He made the Pro Bowl twice. Miami let him go in March.
