Florida reported more than 1,300 new cases of coronavirus, and 53 additional deaths as most of the Sunshine State entered Phase 2 of reopening for business.

According to the latest surveillance data from the Florida Department of Health, there are 61,488 cases of coronavirus in Florida, an increase of 1,305 from the day before.

The death toll is now at 2,660, up 51 from Thursday.

Of those deaths, four involved patients in Palm Beach County, two in Martin County, and one in Indian River County.
