Reportedly the decision made last month by The Florida College Board to edit African American Studies for high school students has taken a turn.

The board is now blaming Governor Desantis for spreading misinformation to seek “a political win” and now acknowledges errors made in launching its new AP course.

In a statement released, the board also says the new version of the course will be an enhancement and not a dilution of the original content such as Black Lives Matter and reparations, that were initially offered.

Back in January, the course was rejected by the Florida Department of Education because they say it was “inexplicably contrary to Florida law” and significantly lacked educational value.

Is this damage control? and backtracking?

Who do we believe here? 🤔
