“Florida” Adds 5,266 Cases Of “Coronavirus” & 28 Deaths!

Florida added more than 5,200 new cases of coronavirus, and 28 deaths on Monday.

According to the latest data from the Florida Department of Health, the state has a total of 146,341 total cases of the virus, an increase of 5,266 from Sunday.

The state also reported 3,546 deaths from the virus, 28 more than Sunday. On Saturday, Florida set a new high for new cases in one day with 9,585.

Palm Beach County

  • Total cases: 13,711
  • Resident cases: 13,569
  • Deaths: 503

Martin County

  • Total cases: 1,979
  • Resident cases: 1,963
  • Deaths: 25

St. Lucie County

  • Total cases: 1,691
  • Resident cases: 1,680
  • Deaths: 45

Indian River County

  • Total cases: 686
  • Resident cases: 674
  • Deaths: 16

Okeechobee County

  • Total cases: 360
  • Resident cases: 358
  • Deaths: 0

Florida tested more than 1.9 million people. More than 1.7 million tests came back negative.

Palm Beach County will make an announcement sometime Monday to close its beaches for the Fourth of July holiday weekend.

Several counties have implemented face mask mandates in the past week, including Palm Beach County and Indian River County.

St. Lucie County issued an emergency order to require facial coverings in county buildings.
