Singer Faith Evans was reportedly arrested and charged with felony domestic violence after allegedly attacking her husband and Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star, Stevie J.
According to TMZ, local police were called to the couple’s Los Angeles residence earlier this week, citing “visible marks and scratches” on Stevie’s face, after a heated argument between the two turned violent.
Faith was reportedly arrested and released on bond later that day. Its unclear what started the argument.
TMZ reported the couple having marriage troubles last year after unfollowing each other on social media, followed by Stevie’s suspicious tweets, “Drunk people always speak their truth,” and “One’s insecurities can damage them” and “Cherish what you love just know nothing will last forever.”
The couple tied the knot in Las Vegas in 2018 after 22 years of friendship.
Faith has two children with first husband, the late rapper Christopher “Notorious B.I.G.” Wallace, and two children with her second husband. Stevie has six children from previous relationships, including a daughter with former Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star Joseline Hernandez.
Neither Faith Evans or Stevie J has yet issued a statement.
