The fight against heart disease and stroke starts with one step!
Join the Heart Walk on November 13th to raise lifesaving funds with the American Heart Association.
Walk with us at Carlin Park, Howard Park or wherever you are!
Show up anytime between 8 and 10 a.m., and be sure to share your photos with us on social media with the #PBHeartWalk.

Heart disease and stroke are the No. 1 and No. 5 causes of death in the U.S. – you can take simple steps every day to protect yourself:
- Try to get at least two-and-a-half hours of exercise a week – Heart Walk is a great start!
- Add more veggies and whole grains to your diet, and take out added salt and sugar.
- Avoid tobacco products AND
- Reduce stress! Take deep breaths, practice gratitude and do something you enjoy every day, even if it’s just for 10 minutes.
