Dear Steve and Shirley, I need some advice. I am a 30 year old babysitter at my church’s daycare and I’m really concerned about one child at the daycare, because of his weight. The boy is only 4 years old and the average weight for his age is 35-40 lbs. I know this because I looked it up. It’s against the church daycare policy for me to weigh the children, but I’m almost sure this boy weighs at least 60 lbs. This is a big problem for me, so I monitor his food and drinks all day long.
