Tyron Hanna, owner of “Thrive for A Change,” helps returning citizens adjust to society. The seven-year-old organization was founded after his family members experienced obstacles re-entering society. He assists clients with clearing their records, finding affordable housing and employment, and learning new technologies. Hanna also provides moral support for court appearances and legal issues, as debt is often an issue for those returning to the community. The temporality of life and the need for kindness is reiterated, in light of the helicopter crash that killed basketball legend Kobe Bryant and eight others. Lastly, the Second Annual Glades Community Service Awards will take place March 6 in Belle Glade.
