Dear Steve and Shirley, I am dating a guy that I am embarrassed of. He and I met in college about 8 years ago and we lost contact initially because he got kicked out of college for behavioral issues and I moved to a different city after I got my degree. He found me a year ago and we have been trying to make a relationship work since then. We were much younger when we met and the way he acted did not bother me as much then.
