‘Day Without Immigrants’ Protest

People nationwide are preparing for a strike Thursday to show what the country would look like without immigrants. Businesses plan to close their doors, and many people plan on calling out of work in protest of Gov. Ron DeSantis’ recent immigration laws.

The no-work strike will also be taking place in downtown West Palm Beach along Clematis Street. It’ll start Thursday morning at 11:30 a.m. outside city hall. Together, the group will make their way down to the courthouse. It’s a peaceful protest, they hope will turn heads.
