D’Angelo is set to headline the next Verzuz battle, but this one may look different than what fans have grown accustomed to watching.

While previous events have had two individuals face-off, organizers have yet to reveal who will go toe-to-toe with the R&B legend — but have hinted that it will be more than one person with the Verzuz being titled, “D’Angelo v. Friends.”

The upcoming musical showdown will take place on Saturday, February 27 at 8 p.m. ET from Harlem’s historic Apollo Theatre. Viewers can tune in on Apple Music or on the VerzuzTV Instagram page for the showdown.
