Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey is officially off the market. Over the weekend, Bailey's longtime boyfriend, sports reporter Mike Hill, got down on one knee and popped the question.
In an Instagram post on Monday, the reality star shared the touching moment.
"Never give up on love," she wrote, sharing the photo of Hill down on one knee with a stunning diamond in one hand. "We are all deserving of the best feeling in the [earth]. trust God & go with your heart. God’s plan, God’s will & God’s speed, not yours."
She continued, "Always believe. never stop. never settle. be happy. and grateful. love can show up when you least expect it & in the unlikeliest of places. thank u my friend @iamsteveharveytv. and when it happens, don’t walk, run toward it. and enjoy. life is too short."
Steve Harvey is the one who set Bailey and Hill up initially.
According to People, which shared the exclusive photos, the surprise proposal happened at the launch of Bailey's wine bar, The Bailey Wine Cellar. The private event was attended by Bailey's daughter Noelle Robinson and Hill’s two daughters, Kayla and Ashlee. Also in attendance were some of the couple’s closest friends, as well as Bailey’s RHOA cast mates.
This will be the second marriage for both Bailey and Hill. Bailey was previously married to Peter Thomas from 2010 to 2017.
It's safe to say the proposal will end up on the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, which is set to return later this year.
