Demonstrations in honor of George Floyd, who died at the hands of a Minneapolis police officer on Memorial Day, continue to happen in Palm Beach County, two weeks after his death.

On Tuesday, Floyd will be laid to rest in Houston at 11:00 a.m. West Palm Beach mayor Keith James announced flags will fly at half staff from sunrise to sunset. Mayor James also eliminated the city’s curfew and state of emergency.

A peaceful protest is also planned around the same time as Floyd’s funeral Tuesday. Police in Jupiter warned residents on Facebook about traffic congestion near the area at the intersection of Central Blvd and Indiantown Rd.
