“City Of Lake Worth Beach” Wants “Body-Worn Cameras” For Deputies!

Lake Worth Beach city commissioner Omari Hardy feels the time has come to equip PBSO deputies with body-worn cameras.

Palm Beach County commissioner Hal Valeche says he feels body-worn cameras are important and he feels the county should be able to find $19 million dollars to pay for them. He says the county commission cannot tell Sheriff Bradshaw to rearrange his budget and find the money himself, because when Sheriff Bradshaw presents his proposed budget he’s usually very specific about what he needs to protect the community. Valeche says he will bring up the issue of body cameras for discussion.
