First timers Chance the Rapper and Run The Jewels are scheduled to perform at the Summerfest festival taking place this September.
The Milwaukee, Wisconsin festival was postponed from its usual June and July dates, due to ongoing concerns surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. The pandemic also forced organizers to cancel its 2020 event.
This year, Summerfest will actually take place in the fall over three sets of dates: September 2-4, 9-11 and 16-18, 2021. The multi-day event features performances from a variety of artists, including Nelly, G-Eazy, T-Pain, and dozens more.
Chance the Rapper takes the stage on September 3, as will “Mood” hitmaker 24KGoldn. Other artists on the Summerfest lineup include Charlie Wilson, Sugarhill Gang, Sheila E., DJ Jazzy Jeff, and the poetic R&B group, Tank and The Bangas.
