We now know who Cardi B is rooting for in 2024 — Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez.

The rapper urged AOC to run for the presidency after catching wind of an Instagram story the U.S. Congresswoman posted on Friday.

In the post, AOC shared a message about affordable healthcare as Cardi’s “Bodak Yellow” played in the background, specifically the part of the song where the Love & Hip Hop alum says she fixed her teeth after seeing a significant bump in income. 

“I had to GET ELECTED TO CONGRESS for me to afford dental treatment,” AOC wrote, adding that in her previous position as a waitress she was unable to afford a new retainer when the one she had broke.  

On Saturday, Cardi retweeted the clip and added, “She better run for president when she turns 35.”

AOC is currently 30 and would reach the presidential age requirement just before the 2024 election and it seems like she’s on board with the idea. 

Ocasio-Cortez replied to the endorsement with a play on the acronym “WAP,” Cardi’s latest hit record with Megan Thee Stallion.

She tweeted, “Women Against Patriarchy (WAP) 2020.”
