If there is one thing Cardi B will do, it’s outdo herself.

Thanks to her recent single, “Up” and its climb to number one on the Billboard Hot 100, Cardi has extended her record to five number one singles — the most among any female rapper. The other four number one tracks from the New York native are 2017’s “Bodak Yellow,” 2018’s “Girls Like You,” with Maroon 5, “I Like It” with Bad Bunny & J Balvin and 2020’s “WAP” with Megan Thee Stallion.

The five-time accolade has her now tied with fellow superstar artists Drake and Ariana Grande.

Cardi took to social media to commemorate the celebratory moment on Monday. In an Instagram post, she shared screenshots of her achievements and wrote, “I want God to come see me in my dreams when I take my nap today so I can kiss his feet and tell him how much I love him!!!”

“Yoooooo [stuff] is amazing yoooooo. I got no words. Actually I got a lot of words but I can’t type it all,” she added. “NUMBER 1!!!!!”

The rise of “Up” on the charts has also earned the 28-year-old the history-making honor of being the first female rap artist to have two number one singles unaccompanied by any other artist. The first record to reach the top spot was her debut single “Bodak Yellow.”
