It remains unknown what caused the death of Bobby Brown Jr., the 28-year-old son of Bobby Brown.  However, some family members have spoken with TMZ and claim the aspiring singer was feeling ill.

Bobby Brown also released a statement to TMZ, pleading for everyone to “please keep my family in your prayers at this time.”

“Losing my son at this point in our lives has devastated my family,” he continued. “There are no words to explain the pain.”

The publication reports that, while it is not believed Bobby Jr. had COVID-19, his family claims he was experiencing flu-like symptoms.

In addition, TMZ says law enforcement sources say that they recovered no drugs at the scene nor did they see any signs of foul play, but will go ahead with a toxicology test.

No other information is available at this time.
