Huge explosions rocked Lebanon’s capital city, killing dozens of people and injuring thousands more, and sending an enormous blast wave across the city. The blast was seen around the city, and eyewitnesses suffered injuries likened to war wounds. More than 2,700 tons of ammonium nitrate was stored in the warehouse that was the scene of the explosion that also injured thousands of people, authorities say.
