One can hardly believe Michael Jackson former lead singer of the iconic Motown R&B group “The Jackson 5ive” passed away over 10 years ago.
He was as unique and musically gifted and talented as one could get. This song, “Someone Put Your Hand Out” was among the celebratory songs I was instructed to play on Howard University Radio’s Original Quiet Storm the day he died. The song moved me emotionally and has become one o my favorite MJ tunes. Have a listen as we recognize June as Black MusicMonth~mb
