John Legend shares his new album, Bigger Love, to bring love, light, and inspiration at a time when things feel otherwise.
Executive-produced by legendary musician Raphael Saadiq, the 16-track album, out today, is a heavy mix of jubilant pop-soul featuring groovy tracks like the title track, “Bigger Love,” poetic statements such as “Actions,” and powerful ballads like “Conversations in the Dark.”
Another highlight from the album is the romantic duet “U Move, I Move” with Jhené Aiko, their second collaboration since “Lightning & Thunder,” off Aiko’s Chilombo album.
Bigger Love boasts appearances from Rapsody, Camper, Gary Clark Jr. and Jamaican artist Koffee, the youngest artist and first woman ever to win a Grammy for Best Reggae Album.
Legend hopes this album will carry on the vibe of his 2004 album, Get Lifted.
“And now, as we enter the summer of 2020, I hope this new album can get you lifted again, fill your hearts with love and inspiration, give you something to dance to, something to hold hands to, something to make love to,” John says in a statement.
You can stream Bigger Love now, and catch John facing off in a Verzuz battle of the pianos against Alicia Keys tonight at 8:00 ET, in celebration of Juneteenth.
