According to reports, the BET show, which ran from 1989 to 2008, will return for one night only, just ahead of the 2021 BET Hip Hop Awards on Tuesday, October 5th. The network announced that Rap City ’21, a one hour segment, will premiere before the award show as “a celebration of the network’s commitment to the culture’s past, present and future.”
Tigger, who hosted the show from 1999 to 2005, is also set to executive produce Rap City 21.
