President Joe Biden is warning the country about “another tough hurricane season” this year.

In a speech today, the president pledged that his administration is prepared to respond to the storms and help Americans recover.

He explained, “We know hurricanes are coming our way. They grow more extreme every season.”

He urged people to “pay attention to hurricane warnings and follow the guidance of your local authorities.”

Biden also toured a hangar at Joint Base Andrews to view aircraft used to track and respond to hurricanes.
