Beyoncé and Jay-Z are paying it forward to the next generation of students by teaming with Tiffany & Co. to launch the About Love Scholarship program.
Bey, working through her foundation BeyGOOD, and Hova, via his Shawn Carter Foundation, will work with the jewelry maker to grant $2 million in scholarships to art, history and communications students enrolling at Historically Black Colleges and Universities, or HBCUs.
Five institutions, both public and private, have qualify for the program — Bennett College in North Carolina, Central State University in Ohio, Lincoln University in Pennsylvania, Norfolk State University in Virginia and University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.
Incoming and current students in need of financial assistance are encouraged to apply for the About Love Scholarship at their respective institutions starting today. Applications close 11:59 p.m. ET on September 26.
