While fans are still enjoying Kehlani’s verse on T-Pain’s new single, “I Like Dat,” the R&B singer is set to appear on another highly-anticipated summer anthem.

On Monday, viral sensation and mashup producer Amorphous announced his “surprise” collaboration with Kehlani, titled “Back Together,” which drops at midnight.

Re-sharing his initial tweet, Kehlani wrote, “I love who we are when we ain’t back together. See you tonight.”

Fans shared their enthusiasm for another Kehlani feature, following her vocal assistance on the remix to Pink Sweat$’ single, “At My Worst, in January.

“You been feeding us with the features damn,” tweeted one fan, while another wrote, “It feels like Kehlani feature season.”

Meanwhile, others are ready for Kehlani to follow up her 2020 album, It Was Good Until It Wasn’t, with “new solo Kehlani music.”

According to his Twitter, Amorphous has been working with Kehlani for months on their new track, “Back Together.” The 23-year-old is known for producing mashups of classic hits like Rihanna’s “Kiss It Better” and Luther Vandross’ classic “Never Too Much” and posting them on social media.

The Rihanna-Vandross mashup was later used for Amorphous, Fat Joe and DJ Khaled‘s single, “Sunshine (The Light),” in January. Since then, Amorphous has linked up in the studio with Jaguar singer Victoria Monet, U.K. singer Raye, and many others.
