
Today marks the second anniversary of Ari Lennox‘s debut album, Shea Butter Baby.

Fans in the comments began naming their favorite singles from the album, including “Up Late,” “New Apartment,” “FaceTime,” and “Broke,” featuring rapper JID.
“Girl. I can’t pick one lol. Thank you for this masterpiece,” wrote one fan, while another said, “And we gon bump it for the next 20+ years!”
Ari Lennox made her grand debut with 2019’s Shea Butter Baby under Dreamville Records. The Neo-soul project peaked at #7 on Billboard’s Top R&B Albums chart and also landed on the Billboard 200, boasting tracks like “BMO” “Whipped Cream,” “I Been” and more. The title track, “Shea Butter Baby,” features Dreamville label head J. Cole and can also be heard on the Creed II soundtrack.
In other news, J. Cole just dropped the “interlude” from his upcoming album, The Off-Season.
