Apple is now worth over $2 trillion – the first U.S. company to ever reach that threshold.
The news comes just two years after Apple reached the $1 trillion mark in 2018.
Despite the economic slowdown caused by the pandemic, Apple shares have gone up 60% in 2020, with people continuing to buy iPhones despite being stuck at home.
