Andre 3000 Is Releasing A Solo Album This Friday, But There’s A Catch…

    17 years after Outkast released their last album “Speaker Boxx The Love Below” Andre 3000 announced this morning that he is FINALLY releasing a solo album.   This Friday 11/17  Andre 3000 will release “New Blue Sun”.   But his lifelong fans are in for a surprise…

  It’s going to be an instrumental album…   According to Variety,  the rapper will release an instrumental album with no lyrics, so no hot 16’s from the famed rapper.   Or will there be?   Dre is calling his new album “a celebratory piece of work, in the form of a living, breathing, aural organism”   I am a number one Outkast fan.   I’ve waited for years for a solo album from 3 stacks, to tell me all these years I’ve waited to get an instrumental project where he’s playing the damn flute…   Come on Dre!
