AMC Theaters Recognizing Black History Month In A Big Way

AMC Theaters are doing something special to celebrate Black History Month, this month only, the popular theater chain is offering $5 movie tickets to watch great black films that were recently released.

 

Movies like The Woman KingBlack Panther: Wakanda ForeverTill, and more.

 

In a statement released by AMC Theaters, Executive Vice President of worldwide programming and chief content officer Elizabeth Frank bragged that:

 

“AMC has a long-standing commitment and track record of inclusive programming and initiatives that highlight diverse, creative talent behind the camera and on the big screen, this programming initiative, which perfectly aligns with AMC’s inclusive programming, originated from the Council on the AMC African American Experience, an internal group of associates that strengthens AMC’s culture by defining opportunities to embrace diversity, lead with fairness and impartiality, and create a more inclusive work environment.

 

Variety reports these films will play at select AMC theaters with “Till” kicking off the movie series tomorrow.
