Woman Arrested After Blasting “WAP” Poolside

Officers reportedly arrived at the Tamaqua Bungalow Pool Friday afternoon (July 23) and asked Stephanie Crute and her two daughters to leave but they refused. Crute is accused of pushing an officer whose back was turned to her and resisting arrest while other officers tried to handcuff her.

Crute’s 11-year-old daughter also got involved, going after the cop who was attempting to arrest her mother from behind. After Crute was restrained, police say she kicked an officer before being put in the back of a patrol car. One of the officers reportedly had to go to the hospital after sustaining an undisclosed injury at the pool.

Crute now faces multiple charges including felony aggravated assault, misdemeanor simple assault, resisting arrest, and summary harassment and disorderly conduct…
