2,000 Doses Of “Johnson & Johnson Vaccine” To Be Administered In Pensacola!

Governor Ron DeSantis announced Tuesday morning that 2,000 doses of the Johnson & Johnson one-dose COVID vaccine will be administered at a Pensacola church over the next three days.

DeSantis held a press conference at 9:30 a.m. from Zion Hope Primitive Baptist Church, which is where the J&J doses will be administered.

Monday was the first day Florida residents age 50+ were eligible to receive the COVID vaccine.

Sacred Heart is also holding clinics in Milton and Pensacola this week for the COVID-19 vaccine.

The Pensacola clinics will be held Tuesday and Thursday at Olive Baptist Church from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The Milton Clinic will be held Wednesday and Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the former Bealls store in Parkmore Plaza. Appointments are required.

To make an appointment, email covid19vaccinesupport@ascension.org and include your name, date of birth, and whether you prefer the Pensacola or Milton location to get your first dose of vaccine.

Meanwhile, Community Health Northwest Florida will hold COVID-19 vaccination clinics in Pensacola this week at the Brownsville Community Center. People who wish to participate in one of these events should call the Community Health COVID-19 Vaccine Call Center at 850-439-3358 to schedule an appointment.

  • Tuesday — 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. — WALK-INS ACCEPTED — Moderna COVID-19 vaccine
  • Wednesday — 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. — APPOINTMENTS REQUIRED — Moderna COVID-19 vaccine
  • Friday — 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. — APPOINTMENTS REQUIRED — Moderna COVID-19 vaccine
  • Saturday — 8 p.m. – 3 p.m. — APPOINTMENTS REQUIRED — Moderna COVID-19 vaccine

Additionally, Community Health will hold a Johnson & Johnson vaccine clinic at the Navarre YMCA on Pawnee Dr. on Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Appointments required.
