FPL and Urban League of Palm Beach County present the 43rd Annual Equal Opportunity Day Awards Luncheon featuring keynote speaker Steve Pemberton, executive with Walgreens and author of “A Chance in the World” on May 23, 2017 at the Palm Beach County Convention Center. The event will honor the lifetime achievement of Clarence D. Williams and Beatrice J. McKoy for their years of commitment to the community and the Urban League movement. Michael Gauger will be honored with the Trail Blazer Award and David Bernhardt will received the Urban League Special Recognition Award. Tickets are $125 and tables of 10 are $1,500 and can be purchased at www.ULPBC.org.
The proceeds from the event will support the Urban League’s mission to assist African Americans and other minorities in the achievement of social and economic equality. The Urban League serves more than 17,000 residents in our community through workforce, housing, education, youth and community development programs and services.
