Mariah Carey’s ex-security guard threatens sexual harassment suit
The security company that used to protect Mariah Carey is threatening to sue for sexual harassment. Carey also allegedly called the owner of the company a Nazi, skinhead and white supremacist.
Michael Anello owns Anello Security and Consulting. He has prepared a lawsuit claiming Carey hasn’t paid over $221,000 for security services from 2015 to 2017. He also claims Carey promised to hire the company for another 2 years at the cost of $500,000.
The draft of the lawsuit claims allegations of sexual harassment. In one particular incident, Carey allegedly invited Anello to her room in Cabo San Lucas. When he arrived, she was wearing nothing but see-through lingerie. Carey refused to let Anello leave until he moved her luggage.
As far as the racial overtones, Anello alleges Carey humiliated him by referring to him and his security team as members of hate groups. Anello says “she wanted to be surrounded by black guys, not white people.”
The lawsuit is currently on hold as Carey’s people are willing to pay for certain invoices. What do you think of the allegations of harassment and name-calling?
